Discover a rare breed of horses descending from Louis XIV's horses sent to New France in the 1600's - the Little Iron Horse / Cheval Canadien / Canadian Horse .
They are like the renaissance nobility horses and many are very baroque in style. This registered breed is well suited to classical dressage, jumping and carriage driving and is genetically unique from other North American breeds.
Investigate this different style of historical warmblood. They are wonderful!

Click on all five photo page buttons at the top of this page for complete viewing of all horses ! Page 4 is devoted to ponies & draft horses.
